Been a really long and eventful day today
It got off to a great start with breakfast together
Den off to school for lessons
Encouraging and motivating each other to study hard
Den suddenly 1 wrong move and the mood took a big swing
Killed the later part of the day
Fortunately misunderstandings were resolved
There was communication
Ambiguity was removed, and reassurance made
And a huge huge lesson learnt for me
But being able to hear and learn from it is so important
And I know it'll make us stronger day by day
Managed to have a small but memorable mid-autumn festival
Hiding behind my car at a public carpark
Playing with candles and sparklers
Eating a bit of mooncake
And just sitting down and talk
Simple, but all important and sweet
So fortunate I didn't have to spend it alone
Promises made are meant to be kept
Reminds me of Chris Medina's What are Words
What a great and meaningful song
And I should really keep that song in mind
True love indeed
I've had many experiences and lessons learnt about promises
And I know to take them seriously
Coz they are to be made from the heart
And to be kept with all your heart as well
Yep, it has been yet another scary but important day
I'm sure things will continue to get better in the future
I am really grateful for all that I have and am given
And I will work hard and cherish it
